What are you really committed to? I mean...really committed to? What do you put your heart and soul into? What do you do, even when you don't want to do it? What does commitment even mean to you?
I hear people all the time say things such as: I want to eat healthy. I wish I was more discipline about working out. I would love to drop a few pounds.
The question I have is: how committed are you to the cause? We all have an interest in changing our lives....but our lives can ony change when we are committed to consistancy.
What would it take for you to be more committed to your dreams and desires? How would you need to show up differently? What are you willing to do?
Let go of the....Some day....tomorrow...I hope.
I have always loved the saying -- if you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.
How committed are you to changing your outcome?
I would love to hear from you your number one goal and how you are staying committed to it. Please post under comments....
I am committed to responding to each post!

My commitment actually is related to clutter in my life. I feel buried with not only things, but disorder in my daily plans. When I look around, I feel like I don't know where to start, and I cannot think straight. I have begun the process of letting go of material things, and I am claiming my creative time back. I am commiting to having a clutter-free environment...and thus, having more time to focus and work on my book. Step one, clean out shed and recycle what I don't want or need. One small shed done 2 days ago.

I am committed to enjoying bike riding again. I rode to service at ILM this morning and then over to spend time with my Mom and again I felt the feelings of why I love to ride. The sun was out the ocean was calm as I was passing by and my spirit reminded me this is what I love.
After the century ride I did last September I had no desire to get back on my bike. The ride was very challenging in every way possible and I'm still not sure how I made it through with my mind in tact. Although I was happy I completed the ride I don't know if it would be something I would do again. Speaking to other riders later they say the first century is the hardest and mental recovery is takes time.
I feel like I'm healed from that ride finally and now have vowed to ride this year just for fun. No training (I hope) just pure pleasure. I'm kicking off this week by participating in the bike to work week in Santa Cruz. I'm feeling renewed today.
I miss riding with you Jenn.

Sharon -- love the connection of how clutter can cause the feeling of overwhelm -- and that can affect your creativity. You are one creative soul -- and keep reconnecting one step at a time.

Sonia - I like that you are back on the bike -- because you want to be on the bike. Not to train but just to be. Keep feeling the love -- keep feeling renewed!

I am committed to fully recovering from rotator cuff surgery so I can fish and play golf again. I am pursuing this commitment by doing my physical therapy home exercises twice a day. It takes time but it has to be done (and is being done.) So far, so good. I am on my way!!!

Hi Jenn's Dad -- if there is someone who I know is committed to the goals that have -- it is you!
You are an icon for the surgery recovery world! Keep it up and you will be swinging and casting again in no time!

I am completely committed to working out. I am mostly committed to eating healthy. That's where I need to focus. Time feels like an obstacle. My inner two-year old sometimes wants something other than what I've planned. Family and special events can blur the line. I want to increase my commitment to eating for optimal weight and wellness so that it matches my commitment to moving my body, and to being aligned with being authentically me.

I am committed to waking up each day with an intention to make good choices of what I put in my mouth and how I move thru my day, 10,000 steps each day.

Hi Hanna -- You know how how I love ready this! Our inner 2 year old can often take us away from what we really want and desire.
What you are talking about is true alignment!

I am committed to training for my first 5K in July, right before my 60th birthday. As a modestly sedentary person, this is really hard, but I am determined to cross the finish line!

Teri -- You can do it! I can sense your determination! Stay committed!
