This week, I started a brand new 12 week food log. There are little tips written along side in the margin. The first day it said: Make a list of five non-food ways to deal with your feelings.
I decided to play along and here is my top 5 list:
- listen to music
- exercise
- work on a fun project
- write in my journal and experience the feelings
- go outside
But before any of that can happen -- you have to be aware of why you are eating. If hunger is not the problem -- then food is not the solution.
